The Flow Rat Model S features a 3 stage filtration system with a Nylon Pre-Filter, a Hepa Filter and an activated Carbon Filter. These filters are rated at 99.99% efficiency, filtering particles down to 0.1 microns.
Overall dimensions are 16"W x 14"H x 9"D and weighing in at almost 17 lbs. Our units come fully assembled and ready to plug in and use.
Ideal use for the Model S includes Grain to Grain transfers, Agar Transfers, Swabs and Liquid Culture.
This model is built with plywood, finished with multiple applications of clear coat to provide a smooth easy to clean surface.
Our hoods also feature removable filter frames to allow the user easy access to the inside of the hood for cleaning and replacing the filters when needed. We recommend replacing the filter on our models every 3,000 hours to provide the most sterile work environment possible.
